Vitrivium Pipeline Studio

Design, validate, and generate Apache Airflow 3 pipelines and GitHub Actions workflows from your browser. A free tool for building workflows visually and generating Python or YAML files for use in their respective platforms.

  • Free
  • Apache Airflow 3
  • GitHub Actions
  • In active development

Two engines available

Apache Airflow

Design DAGs by connecting tasks and dependencies visually. Import compatible Python files, validate your design, and generate code for Apache Airflow 3.

  • Visual DAG editor.
  • Task and dependency configuration.
  • Compatible Python import.
  • Validation and code generation.
  • Saved projects and read-only links.

GitHub Actions

Build workflows with jobs, steps, and dependencies. Import compatible YAML, check for errors and certain security risks, and generate files for GitHub Actions.

  • Visual workflow editor.
  • Event, job, and step configuration.
  • Compatible YAML import.
  • Structural validation and security warnings.
  • YAML file generation.
  • Starter templates.

How it works

  1. Design

Visually create a DAG or workflow, start from an available template, or import a compatible file.

  2. Validate

Review the structure, dependencies, and warnings detected by the selected engine.

  3. Generate

Download the Python or YAML file for use in your environment.

Frequently asked questions

What is Vitrivium Pipeline Studio?

A free web tool to visually design Apache Airflow DAGs and GitHub Actions workflows, validate them and generate the Python or YAML file you then use in your own installation or repository.

Does it run my pipelines or publish workflows to GitHub?

No. The application designs, validates and generates files, but it does not run or orchestrate pipelines or workflows, and it does not publish anything to GitHub. The files are used afterwards in Airflow or in your repository.

Which Apache Airflow version does it support?

It generates code for Apache Airflow 3 and has been tested with version 3.3.2.

Can I import a DAG or a workflow I already have?

Yes, within the supported scope: Python DAG files for Airflow and YAML workflows for GitHub Actions. Imported content is analyzed as text and is never executed.

Is it free? What are the limits?

Yes. Current limits: 4 new projects per day, 20 Python or YAML exports per month (shared between engines), up to 100 saved projects and 20 shared links per month (Apache Airflow only). They may change.

Do I need an account?

Yes, a free account is needed to use the editors.

Which templates does the GitHub Actions editor include?

Templates for Python, Node.js and Docker.

Project status

Pipeline Studio is a free tool under active development. It currently provides engines for Apache Airflow 3 and GitHub Actions, with an architecture designed to support additional capabilities. The application lets you design, validate, and generate files, but it does not execute, deploy, or orchestrate pipelines or workflows, nor does it automatically connect to Airflow installations or GitHub repositories.
